To participate in NCAA Div I, you must have an SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) score and satisfactory high school exam results from your native country. (EDUSPORT USA will evaluate all exam results and determine if you meet NCAA eligibility requirements.)
The SAT score required is dependant on your average academic grade. The higher your average academic grade, the lower the minimum SAT score required. Generally, an SAT score of 950 (out of 1600) will be good enough to compete in NCAA Division I.
A student athlete in NCAA DI will lose eligibility on the day of their 25th birthday and any scholarship award will finish at the end of that season.
All athletes must have amateur status in their sport.
Prospective student athletes whose native language is not English will need to also take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) examination.
The eligibility criteria for NCAA Div II differs slightly from NCAA Div I, as there are NO AGE RESTRICTIONS. Instead the student athlete has 10 semesters of college attendance (which need not be consecutive) to complete 4 years of eligibility
A minimum SAT score of 820 is required to participate in the NCAA Div II.
Institutions within the NCAA Div III do not offer Athletic Scholarships.
To participate at an NAIA institution, you must achieve a minimum SAT score of 860 and have graduated in the top half of your high school graduating class.
There are NO AGE RESTRICTIONS in the NAIA.

Talented athletes who do not meet the eligibility criteria for the NCAA or NAIA may be eligible to participate in NJCAA (or Junior College) where they will be able to complete a 2-year ‘Associates Degree’.
There are NO AGE RESTRICTIONS in the NJCAA.
In many cases an SAT score is NOT required and generally, the overall academic entry requirements for an NJCAA institution are lower than that for the NCAA or NAIA.
